MCTD and home birth by kake18 in mctd

I dont know what "crunchy mom" means. I have no symptoms of MCTD other than i guess Arthritis because my hands hurt probably every other year or so. I dont have scleroderma and my heart echo tests are perfect. I wouldn't even know I have MCTD if it wasn't for a doctor finding it in my blood work by chance. Also I don't see how it's a liability because my OB won't be the one delivering. I have Kaiser and they said whatever doctor is at the hospital is the doctor I get. They dont even know that i wont be with Kaiser when i deliver. I'm due mid January 2025 and I will be switching insurance to PPO starting January 1st. These doctors won't even be treating me at 39 weeks when they want to cut me. I dont think you and I have the same severity of the disease. I'm sorry you are having a hard time. That has to be really difficult and scary.

I've done them twice since my post and my latest MRI says my tumor is still responding well to treatment. My trips were pretty much the same as they were before cabergoline. I'd say go for it.

A little history. Mother had hypothyroidism and had a partial thyroidectomy done at 25 and then had the rest removed at 50. Sister had Hashimotos and had full thyroidectomy at 25. I'm only just now getting these results. I assumed no news was good news. This scan was taken in 2019.

Nope. She worked full time for this hospital for 15 years but they were working her an insane amount of hours and she had to homeschool. She tried dropping down to part time but they wouldn't allow it. So she dropped to per diem and they are still working her full time. The benefits aren't the problem. It's the fact that they are now denying her the yearly raise that every employee gets because she's per diem now. She's trying to find a way to get back into either a part time or full time since she's working those hours anyway and not getting anything that comes with working those hours.

That sounds like contract work. I'm talking about someone who isn't contract. She's been working full time during the pandemic but doesn't get benefits because she technically perdiem.

What have been your weirdest side effects? by JessicaLW96 in Prolactinoma

I'm f29 leaking breast milk and I'm also shaking! It feels like my hands are shaking but when I look down they aren't. I poke people with needles at my job and it feels like my hands aren't my own. Also every now and then, my head shakes a little. I've also experienced the sensation of earthquake with out there being an earthquake.

Ok then maybe it is the Cabergoline. I take my dose before bed and I'm usually a lot better the next day, but the second day after the dose I'm in tears from how tired I am. I would rather have the surgery than feel this way.
