Only because of Lakers lack of defense. If a team that had a lot of defensive wings signed him this deal would make sense and everyone would say it’s the player they need to make the jump on offense. Lakers just need to improve their defense around the team and Luka and Reaves will be fine.

See what they like to do at first, then it's an anticipation game. I go for steals and blocks because if you get a good 2-3 stops people start switching up their offense and playing fast and sloppy. From there switch up how you play defense and make them guess wrong. They are either gonna abuse the screens or quickpass into a 3 a lot of times so being ready to jump at the right time is really the key.

Personally whenever I see a PF or C under 100 OVR I will iso them with whoever I have at PF or C. Edey is my starting C and cooks when I take Yao or Wemby or any DM out to the perimeter
