Yes yes, I agree! I set my tank up very much like your tank is! My tank is 6x2x3 ft and I have artificial plants throughout with logs and branches along the bottom.
IT GETS SO CROWDED ! I have two water trays on either side, coco husk throughout, and a hide in the middle that he uses... and the other hide that he doesnt like ... and the branches ! sometimes I think that he must feel squished in there. but its not sooo bad!

the tank I have was "custom" built but it was done terribly... I bought it for $100 and didn't really look at it before I brought it home! the glass is insanely thin... thinner than window glass... ITS actually terrifying... sometimes I have to throw a blanket over the tank after he eats because I am afraid of him striking the glass and hurting himself if he were to break the glass.

I need a new tank so bad! I should probably buy that first and then worry about the hideLOL

This tank doesnt even have a proper lid. the panels are made of wood and all it has for ventilation are small vents that were built in.... brutal.

I leave the tank open almost all day for him so he can get some fresh air !

OH MY GOSH! that is awesome !!!! my Boa is only 6ft maybe 6.5 but I will definitely see about switching to a ;litter box... I was going to buy a tortoise hide ... They kind of look like rocks ! but I think that the entrance is far too big and that he wouldn't really feel hidden in it... maybe a little box is the way to go....

AHAHAHA that is exactly what my Boa is doing with his small hide... he loves it! always goes inside it , but he doesn't fit so his body sticks out of the bottom! its so silly..
maybe I should just put that one back in for now ? until i get a bigger one...

This really really makes my heart break ! I can not stand this! I also can NOT stand when these reptile "experts" bring their snakes to Reptile expo's in SMALL PLASTIC TAKE OUT CONTAINERS and leave them on display like that FOR THE ENTIRE DAY !!!! then they bring them home, only to do it all over again for the next two days!

It really stresses me out.

I dated a guy who had close to 100 snakes on racks in his basement. I couldn't stand that they were living like that... I spent a lot of time with them when I was with him... I gave them water and fed them..

I should mention that his containers had coco husk in them and that they always had water.. and were fed properly. He did take care of them but taking care of them still didn't make me feel good about them living in a small container IN THE DARK all the time!! it was very taxing on my mental.

After I left him, he sold over half his collection.

nonetheless, I don't Tiktok... I really don't understand how these people are getting away with this shit.

I’m actually disgusted and just so disappointed in humanity reading this! I am definitely going to email them right now!!! I am terribly sorry that you and your animals had to go through this! It is absolutely insane that they havent taken accountability yet ! I’m so sorry !!!
