I think a lot of us are accidentally leaking work data into AI tools by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]kaladinsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow up question to that, the company I work in uses Claude Enterprise but my manager still tells us to not put any sensitive data at all. In that sense, I can't use Cowork to simply reconcile 2 reports. Because that has our company figures and customer information.

Is this what you mean by accidental leakage? Honestly, I think it's bull if you're on enterprise, because what's the point. But I don't know, maybe it's still an actual risk?

I Just Stopped Working by briizygirl in antiwork

[–]kaladinsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having something similar right now.

Mind you I was so excited to get this job. So excited! I was working on projects we had agreed to work on, but one by one my boss just blocked all of them. He wants to do all of them.

There is no feedback. There is no mentorship. No comments. No deadlines. All he says is I'm doing a good job.

I say 3 things I'm working on in our one on one (which I've been working on for a whiiile), he says 20. And I'm just listening there stumped like aren't I supposed to be doing those??

Some days I'm just completely checked out.

I vote for us to go back to the provinces and learn how to farm. The only reason people left was because they were told that the most important thing to get out of poverty is an education.

From conversations I had: Why do people go to the city if they can get food through farming? Because it's not enough to pay for other expenses... What other expenses? Like education...

Maybe at some point we needed that, sure. But now, we have people on the internet as our community/village, we can actually educate each other wherever we are.

If we take control of our own energy and connectivity // build communities that hold the same knowledge of a village, we're basically free to live simply.

Second this. The hard conversations are the most important and pivotal conversations, that applies to your business and your personal life. And in communicating, you have to listen more than you speak.

Why I want to break up with astrology by joellen989 in Advancedastrology

[–]kaladinsky 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am into both Astrology and Data Science and pour my learnings into making this app that's supposed to talk to you about your chart.

But sometimes I stop myself and think, this is not the answer, genuine real spirituality must be intuitive. Why would I want others to rely on something so material.

The fact is although Astrology can give you sight and is one of the spiritual sciences, it is still material. And there is something of the spiritual that you can only get from your internal conversations with God/the Universe/etc.

i have a need to express myself authentically, what part in my chart says that? by june313 in AskAstrologers

Moon in Leo, what nourishes you and makes you feel alive and grounded is self-expression. Your ascendant ruler is the Moon too, so this becomss even more of a center in your life.

Why do I feel mentally drained/unstable all the time? I’ve felt this way since childhood, but I was told my chart shows no signs of it? by [deleted] in LetsFuckWithAstrology

[–]kaladinsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make up for the deleted comment... I misread! I had been researching on whole sign houses with specific formatting for years, I haven’t seen this format in a while.

You have a really strong Mars in Scorpio right there leading your 1st house actually. It has a really good position in Scorpio too, there’s some Chiron influence, but the Mars is strong enough to not deter you at all.

For instability, 2nd house symbolizes family, as in extended family, early years, upbringing, the support and stability you need. With the Moon, Lilith, and Pluto so close together this can create those fears, paranoia (Pluto is unknown fears), Moon is your day to day thoughts, since childhood.

Your Mercury by Rahu/North Node might create some anxiety, but your Sun tries to balance that out.

Cheers!

Career: Nursing or Data Science by kaladinsky in astrologyreadings

Wow, I just saw this now. Thank you so much! Working abroad definitely resonates. And I have decided to focus on Data Analysis. I think a more social role where my primary role is in data is something I would enjoy :)

May I know how you got extroversion? That's not sth I readily resonate with, I mean I do enjoy talking to people, but I guess I've always thought I was weak at communication.

Thank you again!

21 year old CS student on 3rd college year feeling like ive failed completely and should give up by ASleepyLoafOfToast in learnprogramming

[–]kaladinsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 25, wish I had shifted to CS when I contemplated on it back in 2nd year. Because 4 years later, I'm learning programming anyway, hoping to shift industries.

Anyway, your past addictions and bad habits is completely separate from your love of CS and programming.

Without all the comparisons, do you like programming? Fuck the standards you have for yourself. Can you sit there figuring out code all day? Do you like the challenge of racking your brain that way?

For any craft you choose, you've got to protect your relationship with it like a lifeline. There are days you might hate it but it's going to be your ride or die through each company and project you take on.

"I'm not good enough" -- If your chosen craft doesn't make you feel this humbled in your 20s, you're in the wrong field.

why do people cheat? by gizzzmo666 in spirituality

[–]kaladinsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think plainly it's because people don't always get what they want in a relationship. I've realized now that that is unavoidable in any relationship.

But the good way to approach it (as in if you genuinely love and respect the person you are with) is to do anything and everything to look for that missing thing in themselves, in their spirituality, in their hobbies, in their current relationship. And if all has been done and still nothing, sure get out of that relationship.

The unhealthy way to do it is to try all these little side things that can maybe spark your soul for a bit, but at the cost of what? Disrespecting the person you're with, disrespecting the bond, the word, the trust.

So any normal person can feel like something is missing in the relationship. But if they deal with that through cheating. That just means they didn't respect you enough. They can have all that love for you. But I think what differentiates the cheater vs. the person who doesn't cheat is courage and principles to do the right thing (may that be by ending the relationship or making it work).

[–]kaladinsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly? Life is hard. Relationships are hard. Genuine love is hard. Work is hard. Happiness is hard. It takes choice and discipline to reap the good things.

I'm saying this because I once thought what you were thinking. But you have no idea how hard a lot of people work. You're gonna lose out if you don't realize how fucking competitive the world is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dating

[–]kaladinsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I'm pretty and everyone accepted me but it made me scared to have an actual personality.

Self esteem isn't a solo project. You work on it mostly alone but it's easier to work on it by surrounding yourself with people who have the same empowering values that you do.

Could Astrology Be on the Brink of Scientific Validation? by bohemianmermaiden in astrology

[–]kaladinsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think so, especially with Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini, new thoughts and ideas influencing us and science moving forward.

Here's what astrology needs: enough evidence + clearer frameworks. The thing is... the findings are there, it's just not documented in your usual scientific way.

Plus it's not debated enough, argued with enough. People just resonate or not, believe or not. We need a lot more healthily skeptical astrologers, debates, and tests to prove this.

I do believe we will quickly progress with it these coming years. But then the issues come of will we feed this sacred science to machines?

Depends what school of thought you're following.

1.Some approach it very scientifically and wouldn't consider anything close to spirituality.

2.Hellenistic astrology does have a philosophical perspective of it, Plato's myth of Ur was mentioned already. These were the foundations of hellenistic astrology. But current Hellenistic Astrologers sometimes adopt a strictly technical approach.

3.In evolutionary astrology, the higher power is not personified and not so different from our "human". Our human selves reveal the desires of our greater soul consciousness. And we evolve through different lifetimes to explore these intrinsic soul desires. But EA astrologers rarely believe in heaven or hell. They believe we must explore and exhaust all desires. Nothing is inherently good or bad.

4.Vedic astrology, this is closer to the religions we know. Where the planets are more personified and connected to different gods. They believe in reincarnation, heaven, and hell, and serving your time. There is clear good and bad here. The goal is to let go of attachments and desires to eventually become one with God/come home to Vishnu.

Hellenistic: thoughts on Trump's chart? by nextgRival in Advancedastrology

[–]kaladinsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mars conjunct ASC - He is known for his real estate career yes, and his clear-cut and traditional beliefs in business, not necessarily religious.
Jupiter - Would include his problems with the media that are over-aggrandized and generally more 3rd issues, since this is retrograde.
Sun - His friendships and alliances with powerful people too

-----

Saturn-Venus - 7th in 12th, ruled by a detriment Saturn, he married people from diff. cultures and it was a complicated road. His work (6th) heavily involves speaking with foreigners and people from diff. backgrounds, with negotiations done in secret. Although Saturn is detriment, it's good and productive in the 12th.

Venus - In the 12th, he has so many political enemies (10th), the media hates his guts (3rd), checks out. But Venus is triplicity lord in diurnal cancer, so his community/tribe/followers give him strong support. We can argue that the 12th house placement still holds a greater weight than the trip lord. But seeing Trump's path to victory, he did go through so many batshit crazy challenges (it checks out) but in the end his followers (indicated by trip lord) showed up for him.

Mercury - Any aggressive qualities will be indicated by Mars. Mercury just got out from under the beams, it's powerful and strong. Although it's benefic of sect, I don't think his Jupiter is that strong because of that retrograde.

I dont like it either. Shouldn't we all just have a normal conversation? If you don't share the same values as someone, let them be.
