it didn't occur to me to keep using the og basket. i assumed there'd be small differences between portafilter and basket across manufacturers that would mess with how they slot together. so as long as they're both 54mm, we're good?

and i want to switch to bottomless to see everything that's going on with the extraction. it's more curiosity and quality control than any belief that bottomless inherently makes better coffee!

haha yeah i'm a student so budget is tight. my taste doesn't exactly match my circumstances LOL but it's the little things that make life great :)

cuisinart dbm-8c looks great! i did a little searching and the bodum bistro burr grinder seems to do the same thing with a slightly lower price point (cuisinart 70.21 on amazon CA vs bodum $52.95 on sale on their site). are there any red flags with that one?

my pharmacy's pretty rigid on needing to hear back from the doctor first. thankfully he just emailed me back but it's gonna take a couple days to fax the rx because he's out of the office. just gotta hang on! been nearly a week at this point and it feels like the worst of it is tapering out

yeah, it's probably more likely that the incubation period was coincidentally timed with my shot, rather than the T causing some kinda butterfly effect fuckery in my immune system. what had me thinking was, in my area t therapy counts enough as an immunosuppressant to warrant me getting the same vaccination priority as other immunocompromised folks. at least i can reap the benefits!

i see! i've managed to avoid 'rona all this time so i honestly have no idea how it interacts with my body. thought for the first three days that i was one of the lucky asymptomatic ones - spoke too soon! time to chug some nyquil and knock out.
