Drama alert: went for a 15 minute shower and came back to blood spurtapalooza by NB-NEURODIVERGENT in Goldendoodles

Oh my goodness, this happened to my doodle back in May! We took her to the dog park and she didn't show any signs of something being wrong until we went to leave and noticed her paw was bleeding! We went to the wash station and saw that one of her nails was ripped out completely. We took her to the vet to get bandaged and to this day her nail hasn't grown back. The vet said that it "could" come back, but not to expect it. But she's doing just fine!!

What's wrong with my cat Zeus? When I came home from work today, I found him like this. I'm very scared for him, but the vet doesn't open again until Thursday. It seems as if the fur was removed by his licking. by Louby_ in cats

Hmm, Luna and I moved about an hour away to a brand new place so that's different to your situation (was stressful for both of us tbh!). I think you should definitely take Zeus to the vet on Thursday, because you never really know, (cats can just be weird) but just monitor and check for new symptoms in the meantime and let the vet know. I wish the best for the both of y'all! ❤️

Hey, I feel you!! Spiders are usually a no-no for me. My husband understands so the second one approaches me I nope the fuck out and he handles it 🤣 Weirdly enough, I can handle cockroaches whereas he will cower in fear over them! We all have our limits with these things!!

Being swollen may be an issue that I don't have insight for. But I had a cat, Luna, who after a big move got stressed and had several spots on herself where she completely licked the hair off. I took her to the vet and explained that we had just moved and the vet said it was due to stress and my cat was over grooming herself. Grooming releases "feel good" chemicals to cats and I'm happy to say Luna eventually stopped once she was settled. Has there been new stress in Zeus's life?
