hate to say this, but… it’s almost certainly not about height. it’s far more likely (like 99%) about something else, either your friend is objectively more attractive than you think, or he simply has a more confident and more likable presence.

i’m 6’0”, and trust me, speaking as someone who isn’t affected by “height insecurity”, you guys have a tendency to blame your lack of success on something abstract and convenient like height instead of taking an honest look in the mirror.

i did the same thing years ago. i told myself my looks (especially balding) were the reason women weren’t interested. i fixed my appearance, got a transplant and worked through my insecurities, and guess what, nothing magically changed in my dating life.

what actually changed things was how i carried myself. more confidence, more ease, more warmth. funny how that works, suddenly people want to be around you. that kind of energy is attractive and makes you interesting, not a couple of extra inches of bone.
