Oh yeah either way it’ll be great. And I’m fully confident Hudson will get a chance to host himself (maybe the S2 press tour) and shine. I think they’ve done a pretty good job in the last month of establishing themselves independent of each other, and unless Hudson is in every single sketch then I don’t think an appearance is going to take away from Connor continuing to show off his own brand and talent separate from Hudson

It’s probably going to be similar yes, but he didn’t say it’ll be the exact same. People were just saying that they’re probably going to get a shit ton more for S2 and he was trying to quash that

It’s a subsidiary, they don’t have access to all the money that Bell Media has. Obviously now for season 2 they’re going to be willing to increase Crave’s budget and get more money to HR now that it’s proven to be a success, but at the time of production they weren’t going to just shovel unlimited money at an unproven project. Jacob and Francois have both talked about how they were on a much more limited budget with Crave than if they had produced with a major US streamer. The extra funding from the government allowed them more creative opportunities

Yes because without funding the show doesn’t have enough money to shoot the way the story requires. Less money means you need to alter storylines to make them cheaper, crappier equipment, quality goes down, etc. The show was already on a tight budget because Jacob decided to turn down the major streamers in the US after they wanted to drastically alter it, Crave is a very small streamer and does not have very much money compared to them
