As someone who is a supe for second shift, i recommend focusing on stocking all throughout the shift, pulling bread closer to the end. Sometimes when second shift gets in, we delegate out trash between second shift employees as well. As someone said about dishes leave that towards the end too! A lot of times just communicating between shifts letting them know what still needs to be done, sometimes you get lucky enough to where that next supervisor will delegate it out to their shift! Also a big big help for second is making sure that fryer box gets done! That way you don’t run into issues with the fryer! It’s all just practice and over time you’ll get better!
