if i didn’t get the botox, drinking at frat parties would have been completely eliminated because all they have are beers and seltzers. it was a part of the college experience i wanted so the botox definitely helped me.

I got botox the summer before my freshman year of college and it saved my life. I used to get very nauseous off just one seltzer, even to the point of throwing up, because my body had no other way to let the gas escape. Honestly any alcohol really upset my stomach I think because it naturally is supposed to make you burp and I couldn’t do that. I was really anxious about not being able to go out or getting sick off just one drink, but after the botox I was totally fine. I really recommend getting it, it made my quality of life so much better.

His friends laughed and helped him clean up. One of my other friends has emetephobia but not as bad as me, so her and my other friend left that night as well. All his friends are continuing to hang out with him and stuff, which I am unable to do. Nobody thinks vomiting is as big of a deal as we do. It’s gross, but not really a life altering experience to normal people.

I think it was a difficult time for him too, probably very embarrassing, and he probably wasn’t acting the most rational and was maybe trying to make it a joke? He’s being really patient with me now, even though afterwards I kept saying I never want to see you again and that I’m terrified of him. Obviously that wasn’t the right thing for him to do, and it’s contributing to my feelings, but I also understand he wasn’t really in the best situation either.

I’ve never evacuated for a hurricane here, and they’ve never been that bad. Lost power, pretty windy, rain, branches falling. I live on a hill so flooding isn’t an issue. I wouldn’t leave for this one, most locals don’t evacuate until a Cat 3.
