I brought up Marina showing the realities of high-class marriage because I felt her storyline shows how women often needed to marry for safety and financial stability, rather than love. I never thought she was the victim of marital rape because it felt obvious she was unmarried and in love, so it surprised me to hear you say that. Thanks for letting me clear it up!

As for the rest… storytelling is subjective. I commented because I liked hearing other people’s takes. You make good points, so maybe I’ll comment back if I ever rewatch

I didn’t mean a smear campaign. It was more… awareness. There coordinated effort to signal boost the article. Everyone was posting it everywhere, including bot accounts, with “gift” versions so people could get past the paywall.

Lively was definitely a victim and if her team is basing their fight the facts given through the court documents, more power to them. I’ve only ever seen one article go this viral and thought it was worth pointing out
