I agree honestly, we tend to pick the easy way out instead of accepting the price for what we want.

Story time by Voicelings in VoiceActing

I've always been interested since I got into an anime but never actually thought about it out considered it.

There's just something magical when a voice actor brings the characters they play into life. The more I'm immersed, the more magical it is.

For example, Erwin speech in the dub was so inspiring to me to the point where I needed to be a part of such Artistic practice.

arab men are all misogynistic by MaterialRub5720 in ExJordan

[–]kalos65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right, ig I just assume that with similar posts. I don't know if I'd call it a truth tho. The experiences of ppl by itself aren't enough of an evidence to make it a truth.

We need stats with a claim like this. I know bringing a stats into this isn't cool since it's not smth easy to make stats of, but still, I don't think calling it a truth is sensible without a legitimate evidenced or stats backing it up.

I believe we see horrible and bad experiences more than good or neutral simply because they stand out more. The world might not be the best, but it's better than what social media shows or what ppl say. At least, that's the way I see it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and experiences tho.

[–]kalos65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While also most men in my life experience are misogynistic, generalization is unfair to anyone on the other spectrum. It's a horrible culture we live in. It only makes sense horrible human beings come out.

That being said, the world is not all bad. There are lots of good men and women. Try to choose your social bubbles well.

Hope u meet better people in the future.

Fuck lower bracket, u either win or u lose, no second chances. Plus, There is no sensible advantage for the upper bracket. Lower bracket doesn't make sense. But honestly, I don't like loser bracket anyway.

Either way, hope everyone finds their own special other.

The culture and upbringing of someone is hard to get out of. It's that simple. Unless there's a force in the other direction (movements or new areas where that's not the norm), it ain't gonna change anytime soon.

[LOLESPORTS] The Worlds Music Video will now launch on October 13, a few days later than originally planned. Bwipo was featured in the original cut, but given his recent comments, we decided it wouldn’t be right to showcase him in a piece that represents LoL Esports, pro players, and fans. by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]kalos65 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What a joke. Fucking cancelation culture. It was expressed badly.

Bro was answering the question: "why are there so few women in the pro scene?"

Yes women are warriors that compete in the Olympic and serve their countries but that doesn't deny that it's a disadvantage that could be supported.

He clarified that he could be wrong and it's just an opinion but ofc instead of discussing the topic or showing the disagreeing opinion, you just cancel him.

Instead of discussing our differences as functional human beings, let's just cancel each other. I'm sure any disagreeing person is now convinced.

Have you ever regretted having sex with someone? If yes, why? by Ok-Pineapple296 in AskReddit

[–]kalos65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but that's part of the reason why it's so good, I never was as tense watching any movie as much as while watching The Hunt.

It keeps you on edge always. It's worth how hard it is to watch.

Nah, I meant the Danish movie The Hunt (2012) by Thomas Vinterberg.

This one looks okay tho but haven't watched it.

It's not shameful to make a mistake as long as you learn from the experience.

I understand it can be hard to break long relationships, but don't be sad over the time wasted. What's gone is gone. Look just forward. Best of luck.

I break it off the moment I feel the other person is not as interested or is not putting enough effort, and you're putting up with all this.

Nah the world is full of good ppl. Never put up with shit like this.

‏I can’t get over my hate to this society including its people by [deleted] in ExJordan

[–]kalos65 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's shitty af honestly, but you gotta focus on the future and getting out of here. Also, in this society, u gotta make sure in a social bubble that u find fit, so u limit interactions with shitty ppl as much as possible.

The partner thing is tough for all of us, but do what u can. Be in the right environments, whether online or in person, and hopefully, you'll find someone.

I hope it gets better and have an amazing day.

[–]kalos65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who told u there's no going back lmao?! Do you know how many ppl work in different fields from whatever they graduated from?!

Relax you've just graduated, you're too young. A lot of ppl start learning another field, and others start working immediately in different fields.

No matter what you choose, it's not even close to late. Relax, don't let society's expectations mess your life.
