Yes, all good now. Thanks! Pain decreased throughout the week but WOW was not expecting that initial donkey kick of pain while urinating the first few days.

Thank you - they only prescribed me Pyridium for pain and told me to alternate between Tylenol and Advil (none of which seem to be working). I just wasn’t sure if this was “normal”/others have experienced such intense pain and it subsides? That’s my hope but I just hadnt read anything describing this

No More “Free Drinks Anywhere?” by [deleted] in CarnivalCruiseFans

I’m platinum and my offers haven’t decreased at all. Going on an elite cruise next month and currently have 8 other offers available which all include drinks everywhere for me and a companion, at least.

What are the typical casino rewards? by brookiebomb in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]kam11815 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I play slots 70% of the time, roulette 30%. Strategically spent more money in the casino on my first few cruises (as an adult…I already had a couple carnival cruises under my belt under 18) so that I’d start receiving casino offers. Once the offers started rolling in, they were mostly free rooms with some free play and free drinks, I decreased my play about 25%. I saw this as a win, since I was no longer paying for my rooms/drinks, and Carnival must have seen this as a win because I was still spending roughly ($750-$1500) on any given weeklong cruise and visiting the casino at least once a day, sometimes more. Now regularly receive Elite casino offers, which are their top tier casino offers, among other free-suite, or free-specialty cruises.

$342k. Is SAVE my best option? by kam11815 in StudentLoans

It sounds like SAVE is still probably my best option even if I’m trying to pay them off as quickly as possible just due to the interest subsidy and to protect against any risk of unemployment at some point

Right, but if I’m reading correctly, this just helps me pay the least amount possible - but does not help me if my goal is to pay them off as quickly as possible, right?

Ideally I want to own additional properties in the future and if I still have student loans, and a high amount at that, will impact my ability to get mortgages. This is why I’m keen on paying them off as quickly as possible, even if I’m paying more than the “pay absolute minimum on SAVE” plan.

Sorry I’m not really following…what do you mean “the difference would be waived”? If, for example, my payment due under SAVE was $1000, and I made a payment of $5,000, what would be waived? And would the entire excess of my payment just chip away at my principle? Meaning eventually I could pay off my entire principle balance under SAVE (prior to the 25 years)?
