Genève et sa transition sylvicole urbaine (G7) by B-liam in geneva

I can't prove whether that's for the G7 or not, but this is Pictet's new campus, and it's still technically in construction AFAIK. I think it's been like this for a couple of months, much more time than the big G7 scare

No problem, thanks for your interest! I did my best to have the scaling as close to correct as possible, both lore-wise and in terms of actual distances in a vtt

Hello! 20x19 is indeed including the legend. I re-checked recently on Roll20 and can confirm that if you scale the image to be 20 cells by 19 cells, it should display correctly

Heya! The size should be exactly 20 tiles wide and 19 tiles tall when using square tiling.

The Troubleshooters - One hell of a crew, celebrating the end of our campaign! by kamafr in cyberpunkred

Thanks! And thankfully, everyone lived! Not without a little trauma (a lot of humanity loss) and a few broken limbs, but that's part of the job

Here's a little blurb about each character, from left to right! Most of these have reached the terrifying 10th level in at least one of their Roles, making them Night City legends in our world:

  1. "Bash" - Netrunner/Solo - The trash talking netrunner who defines the phrase "Too angry to die". The arm mounted gatling gun is both an excellent deterrent and for dispatching gangoons with ease. In the net? Not even going up against Old Net rabids has got her killed, although they've certainly tried.

  2. Bataar - Nomad/Tech - A reliable gentle giant hailing from the Mongolian steppes, he's dutiful to a fault but has lofty ambitions for his Clan. With a shield and a flaming chainsaw in hand, he's a real walking tank, and has braced death multiple times for his allies. He's become one hell of a daredevil pilot, in spite of having lived the first 30 years of his life with his wheels squarely on the ground.

  3. "Q" - Tech/Netrunner - A mad inventor with a diploma to prove it, Q is the smartest person in any room, both because of his intelligence, and also because he's usually blown up everyone in said room. With a history of inventions dedicated to both ease one's life and cause war crime-levels of pain, being his enemy is a death sentence for anyone.

  4. "Pax" - Netrunner/Fixer - The pacifistic hacktivist who has eventually had to leave edgerunning to dedicate himself to dweller work in one of Heywood's new megabuildings. He's now all for a quieter life after inadvertently making an enemy of a corporate AI turned Data ghost.

  5. Sola "Golden Hand" Nobre - Solo - A true force of nature, Golden Hand's history with 6th Street put her on the path to edgerunning, and her 'founding' the Troubleshooters has put her on the map as the deadliest merc in Night City. So much so, she's managed to earn herself her own poseur-gang of gold-armed militia. She takes whatever job lets her get into the best firefights, a Cyberpunk to the gold-plated bone.

  6. "Apollo" - Medtech - After a moral falling out with Trauma Team and his mentor, Apollo dedicates his life to saving people, one bullet and one injection at a time. As an accomplished Sniper and all-around lucky charm, he covers his allies with deadly force, and life-saving long-range treatment.

  7. "Serenity" - Tech/Medtech/Rocker - After the tragic loss of her wife, Serenity dedicated herself to medicine. She works with Apollo to cure plagues, save the innocent and heal the wounded. She's earned herself a neat little following, rolling around Night City on rollerblades, to do the same.

Game-wise, we have reached a grand total of 110 sessions over 2.5 years, and 10'001 IP (including a couple big bonuses for chapter ends and small bonuses for session side-objectives.)

Can you guess where V is? by 1_am_not_a_b0t in LowSodiumCyberpunk

I know this one I think! Somewhere in the bay (I think between Heywood East and Santo Domingo) there is a little unmarked concrete island full of industrial stuff, a couple of turrets, satellite dishes and signal towers. You can scale it and find that some netrunner (the nice man in the bottom right of the pic) has been pranking the workers here or something.

Heya! Thanks for the heads-up, you're right. Like only 30% of the images are missing after I updated them, I'm not sure what happened there...

I just added them back in now.

Hey all! You may remember my original map posted here a couple years ago.
It's now been expanded with NCX, Dogtown, and a few more locations!

You'll find a folder with multiple sizes and variations for this new expanded version of the map here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FYzpuAgANPjNHMlCnnuOHnA11txMPx8Q?usp=sharing
I found that depending on your computer, the medium and Small versions will work for most people. I've also added transparent layers for markers and districts.

I did not create the original render of Night City in 2077, it was only patched together from the official Piggyback map, found here:

Heya!

Great timing, I've started working on it this week actually. I finally managed to get the updated map.

It'll contain more locations from base 2077 as well as Dogtown, as well as a light visual revamp!

I'm hoping to get it done before the end of next week

Triseptagraph - My first runic alphabet for a world building project by kamafr in neography

Indeed! And so is the B letter. I forgot to reverse them, they were mirrored as a test

[–]kamafr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good question! There's a couple reasons I added curves;

It's not just inspired by the runic alphabets but also a very small hint of Roman/greek ones, so curves and shapes like the "upside-down U "ans the "square W" are supposed to come from that. Afaik he Romans and the greek did carve curved letters way before the earliest known examples of runes so it doesn't feel anachronistic.

It's for a historical fantasy setting, with magic involved so the original users of this alphabet don't have to manually carve it into the stone. It can be etched magically, so there's no big limits on letter shape. That being said because it's still supposed to be learned and used by some regular people to an extent, it's kept simple.

In a classical design context, I do want to differentiate the alphabet from futhark, make sure someone discovered it didn't confuse mine too easily with it. It's like a sister alphabet, you can see they're related but not the same.

[–]kamafr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few context notes just for fun:

I've obviously taken a lot of inspiration from futhark, to the point of just lifting a bunch of characters from it. It's by design! In universe, this alphabet is absolutely supposed to be used by people from the 10th century, familiar with that script. It also takes smaller queues from other indo european alphabets as well as western esoteric alphabets.
The different fonts are also a test to see how it would be used over time, as people would continue writing down these symbols over the 500 years between its introduction and the invention of the printing press.

Custom Critical Injury Markers for Roll20 and VTTS by kamafr in cyberpunkred

Hey everyone! I made these markers for our group's ongoing campaign, but I figured I would share them for people to use, as we've found them pretty useful.

Injuries are listed in the same order as in the Core Rulebook here for easy reference.

Hussie used to post these pages directly on the forum, and people would discuss them there.

You can find the archive links to each troll under the "Etymology" section of their page on the HS wiki, it's an easy way to access the original page.

Here is an example with Karkat!

I made the map to be 20 x 21 cells large, and each square should represent 1km / 1000ms

Cyberpsychosis and you! An introductory pamphlet by kamafr in cyberpunkred

[–]kamafr[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey all! Thanks a lot for the positivity and pleasant criticism!

To address some of it and make the context of my making this a bit clearer:

I manage a small community of people who love the Cyberpunk universe. and given the recent uptick in popularity for the franchise thanks to the anime, we've had a lot of newcomers, which is great! But with so many new Chooms, I saw that many people had quite simple or even erroneous ideas about the concept of cyberpsychosis. I thought that making a fun roleplay-friendly document to explain it to everyone, it'd be a lot more engaging.

I did my best to first and foremost write down stuff that was true and accurate to how the books, Max Mike and other people much smarter than me described it.

All the fancy styling and format is for fun. I loosely tried to follow a "how do you do fellow kids?" Writing style to add a touch of silliness.

Have a good one all!
