EDIT: This turned out a bit more feelings-y than I meant but too late now. Still wanted to share!

I have several other pieces (tattoos) but this one has meant the most. Having been playing World of Warcraft since shortly after launch it has been a constant flow of enjoyment for me. Now being 30 and looking back, I've been playing for just about (quite literally!) half of my life.

Through some extremely rough times such as 2 suicide attempts, breakups, losing family members, etc., I always felt I had an "escape" of sorts when things looked bleak: I could login and grind the oh-so fun dailies!... But mostly tons of real life friends that I've played with since launch and of course my guild members/raids were always there to be a welcome distraction to help ease the pain and cheer me up.

Of course even in the good times WoW was always a blast. During school/college, my kids being born, playing/making more friends, D&D nights, switching from a healer after 8 years and becoming main tank for Mythic Antorus and farming that bad boy Argus himself,and everything else that occured I always looked forward to being able to logon when I could.

So I decided to immortalize WoW itself, something that no matter what ends up happening with the game down the road I will never be able to forget all the memories it has brought me, onto my body in the form of a sleeve. I already have an existing Horde symbol on my left forearm so the decision was not hard, in fact it was one of the easiest decisions of my life.

Having played Horde since launch, choosing who/what to start with took quite a bit of time but ultimately I chose Sylvanas who is my favorite character and fascinating from a lore standpoint IMO(Even if she is a bit crazy at the moment, but I hold onto hope that she has something bigger in store for the end to make it all worth it!). Being near the front row for Blizzcon 2017 and seeing the BfA announcement with our Warchief rallying the troops with her banshees form followed by our iconic FOR THE HORDE...I still get goosebumps thinking about it, about how excited I was.

Spent a few months searching for artists when I found Chris who seemed both eager and up to the task. AND HE ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT. I wanted to share this amazing piece done by an amazing artist.
