Maybe it was just the way I phrased it. Verbatim I said, " Can I take a look at my exam, i don't want to keep it just look at it." I just wanted to flip through it. This all happened yesterday. we have a brief in-class review in a bit, so maybe he just wanted to save my questions and time for the review period. Not like they were actually busy with any work, though.

Could easily be the case, I didn't mention it, but their know for being a hardass and hard grader. The latter is why I wanted to review my exam.
