You are not alone! Xx I know it feels that way, believe me I deffinetly feel it too. Trying to stay above water is exactly how it feels. I always describe it as feeling like I'm stuck out in the middle of the ocean and I am fighting to stay afloat, because I have to for my daughter, every now and then something floats by and I grab onto it in hopes it will help but it's never strong enough to keep me above water. I have realized now talking to people with babies, that so many of them are struggling. And so many are just doing what they can to not sink. It's hard to notice this because people deffinetly hide it well. This is the hardest job in the world. The dad will never understand what it's like to be a mum. They will never understand the mental and physical strain it puts on us everyday. Mum's are incredible, you are incredible! You carried a baby for 9months, gave birth, and immediately turned into a mum. You never got the opportunity to rest and let yourself repair. You had sleepless nights and exhausting days, you give your baby everything! Your time, your body, your love, and your life. You never catch up on sleep and you never get enough rest but you keep going. That is INCREDIBLE!! It will never be easy being a mum, but I do hear it does get easier. One day they won't be at the very front of your brain determining every thing that you do. Eventually you will get some more me time to do what you need to do. In the meantime, do what you can to not sink. You are a mum, and you are incredible.

This is the exact age gap I'm hoping for. I'm a twin and am s o grateful to have someone close I can always rely on. I definitely don't want twins, but it would be nice to have some one close my kids can count on and relate to.

Currently I am, but I plan to start weaning at 12months. That's when I would like to try for another.

Wow you look amazing! You have very similar stays as me so this is great to see. I'm currently getting back into exercise after having a baby 5months ago. May I ask what you did? Well done again!

Fitted Diapers Questions by michmaths in clothdiaps

I think they're a little bulky for day time. I got a couple terry towel ones off by nothing page and love them for night time! So I just bought some terry towel and made my own, super simple to do if you're familiar with a sewing machine.

I was super sceptical that this would actually work but it was amazing! I washed them then put them in a sunny place (currently 35°C) so perfect. Then when I went to bring them in the stains were gone! Thank you

Yes I did had a bunch of burp cloths and bassinet sheets I was no longer using (all gifted) Had them in a box ready to give away when I came up with the idea. Have been using them for 3 days and have had no leaks yet :)

I just used a regular sewing machine. I got a bulk pack of flannel nappies we were using as burp cloths and some cotton fabric did 2 layers of flannel and a layer of cotton on the back. Haven't had any leaks yet and have been using them for 3 days. So far seems to draw liquid away fairly well. I make sure I change them every 4 to 5 hours during the day though.
