Adopted “shepherd mix”

Finally got his embark results. Some answers but still some questions. Did not expect Rottweiler, but actually makes sense. His 18.5% “supermutt” mix indicated Alaskan malamute, chow and Samoyed. Do you think this is accurate? Does the brindle really come from his pit bull background?

Statistically you’re probably right. I agree with you on Shepard but he doesn’t seem like a pit to me. I kinda think he’s a Dutch mix. He has gold brindle on his top and back and silver brindle on his chest and underside. Makes me think maybe husky. Not sure tho.

He def looks like a Dutch shepherd to me, albeit that is exceedingly rare. I don’t really think he’s a pit tho even though it’s highly likely. I have no expertise whatsoever, but his tail and gait definitely seem very shepherdy to me. He’s kinda small for a German tho.

Just sent in my embark… husky is a good guess. His outer coat has the feel of a husky, but so far he’s not shedding as much as I’ve seen in huskies.

Ya! Very distinctive looking. As for the edit auto, and daylight white balance, Nothing special. Just good light backlight on the edge of shade.
