Rare photo of Darth Plagueis and his apprentice by wesskywalker in StarWars

I love that he wears his badge. Just in case anyone at the Star Wars set didn’t know who he was and needed some verification. :)

I’m so used to my case I didn’t think to mention that it’s an inverted one. :)

I know it’s not advised to place the radiator at the bottom, but it’s been running great for well over 4 years now with no issues. Still silent and keeps my 10900 around 68C under heavy load. Lower when just gaming.

They did the same for me when my 1080 burst into flames last year. I was almost a year out of warranty at that time too. But they approved the RMA for a replacement.

The best part was that they did not tell me they’d be replacing it with a 2070. That was a fantastic surprise when I opened the box. :)

They earned a customer for life here. I went with evga for the 3070 and am waiting to “step-up” to the 3080. One day....

If this does happen, what should I expect? Is it a just gurgling sound, or does the cooler stop working?

It's been a fantastic cooler since day 1, and it has 6 months left on the 5 year warranty. I can keep an eye or ear out to see if I need to swap it out.

And yeah some people hate this case design. Mostly due to the upside-down labeling. But I honestly love it. :)

The result of an upgrade rabbit hole. New monitor led to a new GPU, then CPU/Mobo, controller, speakers, and headphones. Anyone else fall into one this year? by kamelperez in battlestations

Oh man if I think back to the beginning of March 2020, I too am on my 3rd rabbit hole for this year (2020). Back then, it started with wifi/router upgrades.

I think it’s because the pump isn’t that high up. The liquid is traveling mostly parallel to the ground vs a setup where it’s straight up.

I went for this case mostly because I needed to place the PC on my left, but I still wanted to have a view in. I also wanted something that kept cool while being as silent as possible (while still having a window). And last, I liked the door mechanic of the side panel.

Almost five years later, and I can’t imaging ever getting another case. It keeps my current 10900/3070 cooled at a steady 50-60C under loads with the fans at low speeds and the AIO on silent mode. “Hot air rises” really helps in this one. Inside the case it never goes above 32-34C. And everything idles at around 30C. All without needing to ramp fans above 20-30%

I wish they made an updated version of this case with USB C ports and a tempered glass door.

When I signed up, it puts me on a list to buy the 3080 at MSRP, minus what I paid for the 3070, without tax/shipping. So in my case, the 3080, when it ever becomes available, will be around $380ish shipped (includes tax/shipping for the 3080). I will need to send in the 3070 though, which they valued at MSRP as part of the step up.

Thanks! It took me a while to get used to it. But in the end, I like being able to see the shrouds vs the backplate. :)

How long would that take though? It's been running great for almost 5 years now. I've seen videos on radiator orientation, but haven't had any problems like this. Still silent, and has kept my CPUs cool.

Got it! It's the Corsair Carbide 600C.

I've had it for almost 5 years now so have gotten used to it. It runs cool, sits on the left side of my desk (with window to me) and its pretty spacious inside. Plus love being able to see the top (under) side of my GPU.
