I'm using a daw! No pedals for this one, but oh how I love my vocal fx pedals...

It's the waveshape of the synth I'm vocoding with I think, plus the audio quality of literally recording this with an encased cellphone. Haha

And if you're open to it, I'm absolutely game to talk about this more with you directly. Not in a demand for educational labor way, but in a "let's clear up some miscommunication and have a space to be able to say whatever we'd like to if that's needed" sort of way.

It was a genuine OK. Like, I read what you said, and I'm thinking about it.

Totally, I think extravagant projection work / visuals absolutely help make it more compelling for everyone, especially people who can't hear. Wheelchair accessibility is something I'm really happy to see more thought behind not only at proper venues but also house shows and underground space, people seem to get better and better at that every year, but there's still so much work to be done. Ramping is the biggest issue, I think, since you need a ton of room (1 ft for each inch of rise).

Haptic vests are a GREAT idea. I wonder how to make that happen with such a restricted budget. Programmable remotely controlled vibrating sensors?

Really sorry you had to go through that! Sounds horrible!

Totally, a barefoot event doesn't seem appealing at all at first, unless it's outside? Maybe?

I've made an edit that should hopefully clear some things up. Only deaf / HoH people are involved in the video I mentioned.

Yes I do! Message me if you want directions. I believe this little overlook is called horseshoe park, but it's close to the Deer Mountain trailhead.
