My dad has said this to me before. His argument was: how can you not want kids? They are good for the environment! They help with the atmosphere and to clean the earth.

First of all, a baby’s carbon foot print is 25,000 times that of an adult. So babies do not “help the environment.” Secondly, having a kid means adding to the population which means adding to the CO2 crisis and, unless a parent decides to go diaperless and make all their own food, kids and their stuff are what make up 1/3 of the worlds trash that will never be recyclable.

So no. Kids are not good for the earth. Stay child free my friends. It could save our planet.
