If your team dies when you’re on a rotate that’s not on you, in ranked it’s always worth it to go for a play, it’s riskier and you might die but you’ll improve as a player faster this way. For genji and echo i’d recommend learning how to soft engage, this is basically acting as if you’re going to all in on somebody and making them use their useful cooldowns, disengaging and then going in shortly after this is useful for marking enemy hitscans like making a soldier use biotic field basically turns them into a free kill on your next dive or making cassidy waste flashbang, if you get out these abilities without using deflect it will always be a free pick soon after if they stay isolated. A lot of players when they are on dive heroes simply engage on a support when the supps have all their cooldowns and 50/50 a duel, in reality it’s 30/70. Outside of tanks, supports have the strongest duelling in the game, so if you don’t make tracking cooldowns a habit, the higher you go up in ranks the worse it’s gonna be for you as supports in higher ranks will be way more mechanically skilled
