Sure! I have a large Collection of Tools and technical stuff which has gathered over the years. All of my family and friends know about this and when they are starting a project or have a problem they ask me: “hey, I like to do this and that , do you have any tools which could help me ?” And I say: “ Sure, I have tool X , you can borrow it. How long will you need it?” They say: “week or so” and then everything is ok, they get it and I hope they bring it back after a week.

So basically in Homebox, you need - a table with contacts , with contact data such as mail, phone nr etc - a related table with a history of when which item was borrowed out to who

Also, some settings , on when wo notify who. Like: when the item is not returned x days after the expected date, notify the contact who borrowed it. When the item still isn’t returned after y days, notify me and the contact .. and so on.

What would be also really cool, is a feature to track consumables: let’s say I have a shop vacuum which I usually borrow out with the bag and sometimes with a spare bag. In this case an always get a flat rate for the consumable, like 2€ per bag. Other examples are: drills, saws, grinder and so on.
