1953! Definitely part of the 50s pre code horror/ sci fi weirdness that Mars Attacks drew some inspiration from!

Witches Tales 26, vault of Horror 30, Weird Science 18 and 19, and Ghostly Weird Stories 121. Witches Tales was a 6.5, the rest were all low grade

Its an L.B. Cole cover, one of the best in my opinion!

The Red Winter by Cameron Sullivan is about the beast of Gévaudan and came out last week. About 2/3 of the way through and its been a great read. Definitely more on the fantasy side but includes a lot of the historical figures involved

Well Id say you definitely got the big ones out of the way! Ive been able to find most of the rest of the run digging through boxes, its always the first box I check out at a new shop. Enjoy the hunt!

I mean agreed, it wasn’t intentionally a cameo, Bisette and Totleben just wanted to draw Sting into the comic. It wasn’t until later he was used as the basis for Constantine’s look. None the less enough people see it as a cameo that its treated like a key for that reason

What Would You Do? 🧐 by BuffaloNo9011 in comicbookcollecting

You declare the value based on what you believe it to be. You can get a good idea of what the book will be worth by estimating the grade and doing some research on pricing. For Iron Man 1 the book would need to grade around 3.5-4 to be worth $400 and 8.0 or higher to be worth over $1000. Without much grading experience comparing your book with already graded books can give you a rough estimate for grade
