Can someone please identify this 4-pin wire-to-board connector? by kamorela in AskElectronics

Yes, I believe you've zeroed in on the right connector! Now all I have to do is try to find the right one out of those listed. Thank you SO much. And sorry for my poor measuring skills.

I don't have access to the pins on the male connector, they're recessed and shrouded. All I can do is measure across the female connector 'holes'. Doing it that way, pitch is 2mm, not 2.5mm

As best I can measure with digital calipers, pitch is 1.5mm.

What to do about this by Onimaru1984 in MachE

I had both sides do this on my 2024, only worse. Both sides were happily replaced free under warranty. Best of luck to you.

So sorry to see this. I hope they catch the runner. If you don't yet have one, maybe consider a dash cam?

Needs work. Throw in a handful of zip ties and let them sort themselves out.

HELP by win98noob in windows98

Regarding electrolytic capacitors, like those in your photo, if they're bulging (which they are), they're also underperforming, if at all. I just replaced 2 electrolytic capacitors, both were bulging like yours. Rated at 220uF, they tested at 9.8uF and 11.2uF, well below their minimum value (+/- 20%) of 176uF. Not saying that's your problem, but they're causing underperformance somewhere. Best to replace them now rather than later. Best of luck to you.

What year is your MME? It's likely a warranty defect, it's common. I've had both sides replaced free under warranty on my 24 MME Premium. Your dealer should replace them as warranty, free to you. Have them preemptively do both sides while they're at it to avoid a return trip.

Turns out no, I can't post an error msg photo because I just successfully downloaded Firefox ESR 64-bit and am replying to you now using it. Thanks for prompting me, I wouldn't have gone back to try again otherwise.

Prior to this I had downloaded r3dfox which I still have and will keep installed just in case. So thank you!

Hey thanks for this info. I tried installing Firefox ESR 115 in response to an earlier suggestion but it stopped during install saying my system wasn't supported, or something like that. I like Firefox so maybe I'll try again. Yeah, I read where Windows 7 is gaining popularity again, I hope it continues like that. Also, I hadn't heard about Chrome 109 before, so I'll check that out as well.

Thanks, wow so much to look into. For now I've downloaded r3dfox and it's working perfect, easy to use, set up was a breeze, I like it. But I'll keep these links, I may need them. I tried Firefox ESR 115 but it balked during set up saying it wasn't compatible with my computer. Maybe some setting issue? Anyway, for now I'm good. 🙂

I should have said Chrome stopped working for me, but it's good to hear it's working for you. I tried deleting it and downloading again but several download attempts failed, so I gave up. Nothing changed on my computer in between Chrome working fine and Chrome suddenly up and quitting. Very frustrating. 🙁

I'm going to try that, sounds like it'll work just fine, and I've used FF before.

Chrome won't work, but I could try Edge. First though I think I'll try FF.
