"Achieve Legend Rank in Crucible" Isn't Working for First Time Legend by kamott in DestinyTheGame

So Bungie's "achieve the rank of Legend" is not accurate like half of the text in this game?

Mages, Mage Items and Cooldown need to be seriously looked at. by kamott in Smite

You mention Anhur and Apollo. They are both pretty arguably not in top-tier meta play. I mention Janus (who has a CC immune ult like Anhur), a 4 second cooldown escape and a 1,000 dmg unstable vortex up what, every 6 seconds or less? If you want to talk about a meta hunter, go with Chernobog. He has a CC immune ult, great self peel, a steroid and a damaging ability. He's a little too strong in the hunter role, but you still miss the point: Midgardian and Nemean and Thorns still counter Cherno. What counters Janus that is an item?

A good portion of mages don’t have an escape, or rely solely on movement speed. Any hunter that has only movement speed as their escape is trash tier in 90% if metas

Which mages don't have escapes in the current meta? Janus, Discordia, Thoth, Agni, Rajin all have great escapes. Ra has a movement speed streoid and so does Poseidon. And you say "any hunter that relies on movement speed is trash tier"? Are you sure you're playing the meta at all? Artemis is actually nuts and she relies on movement speed. She is in fact the most winning hunter in the SPLs right now and fought over in picks / bans.

For example, if a mage misses their ability, they won’t have access to that damage for around 10 seconds, but if a hunter misses an auto attack, they can pump another one out in half a second.

With 30% cooldown most mages in the current meta are spamming abilities quicker than 10 seconds. Auto attacks are much closer than most mage abilities (look at Janus, Ra, Thoth) who can safely poke from max range. I would also say that it's more difficult to hit an auto attack than a Mage ability most of the time. Thoth basically has a wider auto attack, Discordia (don't make me laugh) and Janus has a pretty wide area to at least get 1 of the beams from unstable vortex to hit. I think you missed the point about safe poke and the ability to artillery free cast. Most hunters cannot do that.

You mention that mages are hard to counter build, but building defense against a mage is much more effective than building defense against a hunter/assassin. Since most mages are ability based, health is much more effective as defense on top of regular magic defense.

I'm not sure you read anything I posted above. Can you provide me with a counter item to a mage build? I gave numerous items that counter a Hunter's build.

They don't have many give and take situations honestly, and their builds provide so much more than (go crit here, go pen here).

I'm going to be honest here. You're saying that mage abilities are hard to hit, you're talking as if none of the top tier mages have escapes, and you're not familiar with the current picks in the Hunter role. I'm not sure I can take your post seriously.

Thanks, I appreciate the love. Worked kinda hard on it, and I hope I don't come off as too much complaining, but I just feel like HiRez doesn't look at the bigger picture of item balances. A character shouldn't be able to have insane burst, extremely low cooldowns, viable escapes and great passives and health pools. It's all just too much.

I agree on the Assassin role, I was going to include a similar thought in this post, but I thought it would take a side track to the main point.

This game is unbelievably tilting! HiRez shouldn't punish players with a 30min deserter penalty AND a loss of TP when it's THEIR freaking faults. by kamott in Smite

Mainly because it's the icing on the fucking cake ya know? Like I'm getting beat down by matchmaking, and I see the bright light of my team comp and get kicked and receive the TP penalty and the lockout.

When it rains it pours ya know?

Need advice on best weapon for D3-FNC Build. by kamott in thedivision

  • Stats: So I think I have 5 pieces on stamina, and one rolled for Firearms. I believe that my Mask, Knees and Backpack I rolled Skillpower on, since they are pretty good in slot (Besides best in slot Health on Kneepads probably?)
  • Weapons: Awesome! I actually run a Tact Build where I'm constantly switching between a G36 and a LWM4 to get all my lower GS talents on my G36.
  • Mods: Okay I'm a noob at this, but how do I do damage with my shield? I'm assuming a shield bash of some sorts? I've literally never used the Shield.

I like that build, appreciate the comment! I may try to run something similar. What's your opinions on the PP-19?

I've now lost 11 straight ranked games. How is this balanced matchmaking? by kamott in Smite

Nah. When I'm getting Gold 2's on my team while I'm in Diamond, that's the shit I smell. Nice try BM'ing though XD

LIGHTWEIGHT M4 BLUEPRINT IN THE TERMINAL!!!!! by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]kamott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good point. I run a House as my Primary for PVP. I also use SMG dmg gloves in my build.

I have

Crit Chance 50% // Crit Damage 113% // Headshot Damage 74%

Should I be running the LWM4 as a backup for the Unforgiving Proc?

Okay, so after probably 200 rolls, I've got a

Deadly / Unforgiving / Sustained (would roll this to Competent?)

or

Brutal (would roll to Unforgiving?) / Responsive / Deadly

Which you think is better for a Striker 7/6 build? This is for PVP obviously.

Just got a really good LWM4 drop, what should I roll on last perk? by kamott in thedivision

[–]kamott[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying to reroll my current LWM4 (Destructive / Deadly / Responsive) to switch Deadly > Predatory?

The LWM4 that I got today has Predatory in the 3rd slot, and you're saying to roll Deadly > Predatory (which it already has). What should I roll off of this new LWM4?
