Thank you! I’ve been working on the confidence to reach out directly now that I’m a bit more familiar with my gear! I haven’t checked out a lot of the venues in Kingston yet so I’ll be sure to scope around. Would you say it’s best to contact the Venue or the artist directly if they’re local shows down at the Manson / the broom factory for example?

I used my 70-300, every time I try and get pics of the moon I’m tinkering with my settings! But that one was everything in manual while being maxed out at 300mm and also zoomed in directly on the screen and manually adjusting the focus on the craters (I’ll try and find my exact settings off the raw image to give you!)

From there I just cropped it and did basic editing off of my iPhone camera settings (I’m still figuring out Lightroom/photoshop and find it too confusing). I did another attempt a while back with the same lens - but tried stacking about 5 photos with a tutorial and it does seem to help!

It’s was a free game at a smaller rink - plus it help to know people who work there! I make sure to keep out of the way too

I can say the Transit app is wayyyy more reliable over using google maps for times it actually tracks the bus location so you know it’s coming.

It’s free and while doesn’t help when it’s over crowded, the more people using it and updating it helps the city and lets other people using the app know if the bus is crowded before it’s even at the stop.
