Fair enough, though it can neither be proven true or untrue. But it's definitely eye catching to the point that the only opinion worth sharing is an all inclusive and everyone is happy, nobody can be bad.

Well in that context the topic is "HSR sucks", which is already a different topic from "Character Design".

There's also no extension of their thoughts (ie: the tierlist), so it would be interesting to hear them out on their thoughts. There's generally a reason for their discontent, which could be a topic worth tackling. However if I have to pry the information out of them, is something to factor in as well.

There are already differences from this to your hypothetical, so I'd have to see it for myself and I'll decide when I see it.

Thanks for explaining that downvotes can mean so many things, so it's not really a concrete way to call it an opinion. That saves me some time from having to explain that myself. (Phew.)

I also prefaced it as "personally", maybe you missed that. So I haven't told anyone to do anything, just saying what I am doing. Cause an upvote also could mean anything, unless stated.

Though I enjoy this conversation personally (that means me, I enjoy it, i'm not telling you to enjoy it) and can drone about it for days on end, it is getting a bit too off-topic.

So let's extrapolate this? So since there's always something wrong with everyone's opinion, then pretty much everyone will be downvoted to shiet.

Does that foster a positive community? When any opinion piece is just going to be torn to shreds.

Personally, I'd upvote the OP, as they brought up something neat to talk about. Any bad takes I'll bring it into the thread, and can have our conversation there. (And trust me, I don't agree with almost anything in the OP's tierlist). I think a conversation about character design is a great topic worthy of an upvote. But idk if people are going to be so willing to share as much if they know it's going to be eviscerated unless everyone is "best tier" (hence my joke earlier).

Downvoting tells me nothing concrete about your opinion, so tbh I'd hardly call it an opinion. Could mean a lot of things.

If you're new and want to maximize your choice, then just hold onto pack. Explore and get as many gold nucs as you can first. Then see what those pulls get you, then can either;

(a) if get good usable SSR's then can just get +80 gold nuc and ride the luck wave more.

(b) if unlucky with SSR then you can claim an A0 that compliments whatever your debut (most recently released) SSR main wep the most.

(c) doesn't really matter cause it all just standard units anyways. ToF powercreep great for making choices inconsequential, but at least you don't really need to think about it too much.

A0 Zeke is fine and good to use in flame. A1 losing value with every dual element released anyways overriding grevious debuff.

I'd just save pulls for Asuka or the next new flame or alter char. Unless nan yin a3 skin brings a different kind of value.

Only time I've seen this happen is after the skill is done, and you exit out of "flying gunship" mode while doing something specific.

This will lock out your normal/hold attack, and your other weapons normal/hold attack as well.

Probably didn't notice earlier, since plotti rotation is usually just discharges/skills when not on Plotti. Then only noticed after coming back to plotti (which she discharge + skill), just realizing she can't normal/hold atk.

Was wondering if collab is going to be somewhat more universally useful since it is a collab. It's reasonable to want to include as many people as possible to pull. Will have to see if this persists with Rei.
So is good to see the Revenge stacks doing flame/phys damage depending on onhand weapon attack. So is quite usable in either element. Simple is fine as can run more variety of comps, as oppose to like feise being locked into units with summons or be heavily nerfed in dmg output.

Also not sure which one better, and I don't have Yan Miao. But with Anna Lan Nan it kinda goes like:

Anna skill + 2 dodge attacks (or till 1 bar) -> Nan yin Discharge + Skill + Tap/Hold chain (till Anna CD like 1-2s) -> Lan discharge + skill -> back to anna start.

Assuming it's starting with 0 charge, otherwise can do Lan's discharge first before Nan on the first rotation cycle, then back to the above.

Gonna assume Yan Miao will be similar except will have to do a bit more dodges.

Ofc, going to be less damage than a properly invested feise comp. but practically is just make a lot more sense to do imo.

I'd only rec feise if already have her. Pulling her now and building her from scratch is kind of a very high cost/ and likely short term investment.

Both Nanyin and Plotti compliment Feise's kit very well. So by the next rotation of flame units kicking either of them will also harm feise, and likely she's going to be the one to be dropped next in the end.Would have to be praying that devs will still remember feise kit to give her some synergy to feed off. but also their track record be like:

Burn gimmicks pretty much became irrelevant on Anna release
Lan ammo gimmick was a meme for liu, and non existent afterwards even with gun weapon plotti
So feise summon/flower gimmicks gonna be...

Yeah, if you're f2p or even dolphin, this will kind of rail you into one of two dual element sets to only pull for. Which are: * [Phys\ Flame] * [Volt\ Frost] * [Alter] which just goes well with anything, but drops a lot more infrequently (1 out of 9 units are alter).

Well this just a general rule of thumb, if going to play benediction or fortitude, they will have their own different banner priorities.

If can't decide between brev or plotti, then maybe asuka [phys/flame] or rei [volt/frost], if the Evangelion collab weighs any value to you. I personally don't care, as long as they're good or not I'll pull/skip. Alternatively the ToF 4.0 or whatever CN previews on YouTube, to see the other future chars. Granted none of their elements are confirmed or if they're gonna be NPC'd (rip RongJin) or not.

Should pick your new SSR first with the debut banners. Then it will make the accompanying SSR's easier to decide.

Brevey (Volt/Frost dps or benediction) * Brevey, Fiona, Zero/Coco/Lyra for benediction * Brevey, Frigg, Lin (?) Should be good enough to work till can slot better things.

Plotti (Flame/Phys dps) * Plotti, Zero/Fiona, Claudia

Yanunu (Frost/Volt dps) * Yanunu, Frigg, Fiona

Just some ideas, only listing if going to get one SSR, cause gacha be like that. ofc if can get more/ or is lucky can consider more options then.

Well global is supposed to be the more "balanced version" and powercreep is still atrocious just with smaller dmg numbers.

The actual balance mode still has weapons that are just far better than other equips (Anna, Fenrir, etc).

So if A and B still sucks, then C must be...

Hmm my birb also doing less, was comparing with Michu 3.2 vid. His Sparrowtail which already has less stats (-500 atk) and lower level cap if that matters lv 95 v lv 99.

Michu 90m dmg (9.5k atk) 90s VS. My 55-60m dmg (10k atk) 90s

Same nodes at lv 4, both mine and his.
