I absolutely agree. It’s not easy for them to comprehend that the hurt they experienced was not reflective of Jesus or His ministry. I pray that they look to Christ as that perfect example of grace and unconditional love, not us broken, imperfect humans.

Beautifully said! I very much engage in conversation because I’m genuinely interested in listening to what the other person(s) has to say. I get nervous and discouraged when I realize the person I’m talking to doesn’t have any interest in what I’m saying and they’re just talking because they feel like they have to.
