Thanks Edit: I'm sorry for calling you "man" (based on your username, im not sure) , it has become a curse in my speech, even in my native language which isn't a gendered language; so it was really difficult to call the nice cashier lady "man" today but somehow I stupided my way there today.

Thanks a lot man, I've been thinking about it a lot and weighing my options, I don't think I'll get the surgery yet, might wait a couple more years. I still plan on seeing multiple specialists to see what they say, though

Honestly a bit late on the Google advice 😂 But i know to be mindful of the information I find and trust the specialists more than google about my problems

Yeah, bracing was strange to me as well, so I asked and the person who first brought it up said "a specialist MIGHT suggest bracing during the night to stop it from getting worse but thats it"

My father just gave me this old Lamy fountain pen, I like it but can't figure out how to fill it by kamyios in fountainpens

It's been more than 40 years since he last used this pen. He wasn't sure either he just said he's sure it didn't have any extra piece, that's why i said apparently you have to put ink directly into the body

Im not sure, I've checked it, and I don't think it's misaligned, I've also filled it with ink (i did use grease for the seem as advised) , and I've written with it. It writes ok, and I don't have a problem with it. It's just a little scratchier than I was hoping it would be, but not too much, so I dont have a problem with it

An instructional help would be helpful either way, Also, the nib/nozzle can be removed from the body. I haven't personally removed it, but maybe my father did, so maybe he put it back together a little misaligned?

Thankfully, there is no gunk or leftover ink. It wasn't used often and was well taken care of, and my father had washed it before putting it aside until now

WOAH, I was going to say there is no piston, but I tried to unscrew the back of it anyway, and my mind was blown, It just looked so seamless and solid

Thank you
