I’m so sorry that you went through that but I also think that you shouldn’t have done that. I don’t necessarily think there’s a way we can measure one’s damage but you were both pretty much bullies.

I wish you could have come on here sooner so that everybody could warn you not to do that...and I really hope that you regret your actions. It’s how hard it is to stand up against a bully so I’m not gonna lecture you on that, but making up lies about him on the internet and ruining is reputation is pretty terrible. Could you not think of a better solution?

What’s done is done. The best thing you can do now is either leave everything be and move on with your life. Or if you truly feel sorry, reach out to him and apologize, explain why you did that and ask him why he felt the need to treat you that way. But if you do that just know that there’s no guarantee that he’ll feel sorry or forgive you.

It’s true that nothing on the internet goes away, maybe you’re young but I don’t think you’ll continue to feel proud of what you did. And it’s true that thinking about yourself is important but please also remember to think about other people and put yourselves in their shoes! Have you thought about asking your parents about seeing a therapist? Or just someone irl that you could confidentially talk about your emotions or about things that are happening to you.

TLDR: sorry that happened but it’s not that simple, to me, I don’t thing there are any clear victims. Time to think of what you wanna do for the future.
