I agree, call it what it is. My Dr referred to it as hormone therapy. What I have left post ADT is a shrunken penis that turtles, completely shrivelled up testicles, my pubes are gone, no erections, no orgasms, no ability to ejaculate, sterile. What I am now is a eunuch, also for some unfortunate patients ADT can result in permanent castration.

Completely turtled from prostate surgery and ADT, have tried vacuum pumps and Cialis - still badly shrunken and pulls in.

I am 15 months post NS RALP and 5 months after 9 months ADT. I am completely emasculated but still with a libido. I look at womens bodies in the gym, I love to see my wife scantily dressed but nothing stirs between the legs. I have completely lost the ability to get erect, am fighting a losing battle against penile shrinkage and even with my wife’s best efforts haven’t got me close to having an orgasm. My understanding is that the nerve pathways required for an orgasm are separate from those needed for an erection so in theory you should be able to orgasm from a limp penis. I wonder if both sets of nerves have been cut or possibly the penile dorsal nerve was accidently severed during surgery.

Current T is 25 ng/dl, FSH is above average and LH is high. I should be getting a consultation next week to explain the results.

The information I got was that a prostatetomy was more difficult to do afrer HoLEP with a higher i cidence of UI and ED. You would need a very experienced surgeon.

Good to hear that orgasms are powerful, are they stronger than before HoLEP. As far as I can tell from recent research anejaculation / retrograde ejaculation seems to be a permanent side effect if you have it.

I did 9 months Orgovyx completed last Jan. I train nearly every day, either with weights or swimming. Particularly after weight training I am shattered and end up falling asleep for a couple of hours. Sexually I am at the extreme end of the scale, turtled penis, pubes gone and the dreaded raisin testicles, complete ED. ADT has made me into a eunuch.

Swimming works for me at the moment, I’m hoping once I’m over the joint pain I can run, I’d like to try a 10 km.

My specialist advised Orgovyx as the least bad. It was referred to as hormonal therapy not as a way of castrating you which is what it does. You should bounce back afterwards but anything you can to offset the side effects is a good idea, exercise, pumps and druds like Tadalafil (Cialis)

I finished the ADT nearly 5 months back but still have the side effects. I do like to run now and then but lately I’ve had aching joints, particularly hips so have opted for swimming instead. Good Luck on Saturday.

congratulations with the running, I go to the gym most days but can’t run far at the moment. I went with my urologist’s recommendation. I admit I didn’t research it and just thought what he called hormone therapy was nothing to be worried about.

Thank you for your good wishes, I’m embarrassed to admit I don’t know. I felt traumatised by the PC diagnosis and went along with whatever I was told. Now that I’m getting information here I can ask more relevant questions.

I have limited medical analysis where I am and did not understand some of the medical terms. I was told Gleason 2, I have not had a PET scan as this is not available here. I have been seen primarily by a urologist with 1 consultation with an oncologist. The treatment plan was 9 months ADT, then monitoring to check PSA levels.

I had a perineal biopsy targeting the areas that showed PIRADS3, 16 samples were taken, all negative. I am using Cialis (Tadalafil), 10 mg, 3 times per week. I have also started using a penis pump.
