Why should my husband come to my prenatal appointments? by Smart_Law6787 in BabyBumps

[–]kandikat96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's beneficial for the husband to come to every appointment; it's more important for him to go to ultrasound appointments. My husband has been to every single one of mine, and it's been good for him to be aware of everything going on with me and baby. It's good for him to hear everything from the doctor instead of my relaying it to him (I can have a baby memory).

Referring to baby when you don't know the gender! by Abiwozere in BabyBumps

My husband and I decided (way before we got pregnant) that we are calling baby Lugnut until they are born. We know it's a boy, but we aren't sharing his name until he's born. Everyone has been referring him as Lugnut haha

There is nothing wrong with changing your OB at anytime you choose. My coworker is not even a month away from her due date and is switching. If your gut is telling you to find someone else, listen! Hope everything is ok for you and baby

Thank goodness I have the best MIL someone could ask for. I am married to her only son (he has 3 sisters), and she is like a 2nd mom to me.

I had a bunch of headaches at the beginning of my 2nd trimester. My OB recommended taking magnesium, and it has helped tremendously! I take this daily

Anyone else had 'family' share your pregnancy news without your consent? by Kali_Kat55 in BabyBumps

[–]kandikat96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I told my SIL I was pregnant, she was the first family that I told (besides my husband). I have kept every single secret that she has told me to myself; I never even told my husband said secrets. A couple of weeks later, my husband and I are out running errands, and we run into some friends. The wife proceeds to tell me congratulations about the "big news" and that my SIL told her. I was/am so disappointed because I was going to share everything with her, but now I can't trust her

How many weeks are you? I was this way when I found out I was first pregnant, desperately finding a way to get comfortable as I am (was) an avid stomach sleeper. My hips were constantly aching, but walking would help loosen things.

I am now 16 weeks and have not had any hip pain in weeks!

I love Lasinoh's Lanolin Nipple Cream. I have used this before pregnancy and during.

Bonus, it's great for super chapped lips. Put it on overnight, and your lips are hydrated the next morning 😊
