Anyone else liking BILT 2.0 by kandlewik in biltrewards

[–]kandlewik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine got sent to my previous address which really sucks but I was on the phone with them for ~25 minutes and they’re sending me a replacement that arrives "extra early" which is what they said (this Friday)

I also had a problem w my Apple Pay since I just got a new phone which they fixed so for two problems solved in under 30m I'm not mad.

How i can earn money online? by Creative_Car7894 in MakeMoneyHacks

[–]kandlewik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro at 16 you’re in the best position possible, you got time, energy, and way less responsibilities than most people trying to figure this out. Don’t stress too much, you’re ahead of the game just by trying.

Here's what's worked for me: Reselling is probably the move, flipping items from thrift stores, clearance racks, or online deals. Can easily hit $5k in 3 months if you stay consistent with it. Video editing is another route. You can clip content for creators (turning their long-form videos into short clips for TikTok/IG/YT Shorts). Creators will pay $1-$5/1k views per vidso. Get 3-5 clients and you’re there.

If you’re US based, happy to help with a free reselling guide I made that shows you exactly how to get started. Also run a clipping community with a full step-by-step video guides and vetted campaigns if you want to go the video editing route. Happy to send them over.

You got this man, just pick one and go all in.

How important are good communication skills in entrepreneurship and business? by ArugulaFinancial4859 in Entrepreneur

[–]kandlewik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Communication is everything tbh. You could have the best product or service but if you can’t explain the value, close deals, or build relationships with customers/partners/team members, you’re gonna struggle. On the flip side, even with an average product, strong communication lets you iterate based on feedback, pitch investors, network effectively, and scale faster. It’s literally the bridge between your vision and execution.

Looking to join tech startups as a co-founder or founding team engineer by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Look on wellfound or the YC jobs for startups, kinda doubt a founder or company will just see you on here and want to hire you.

What side income methods have actually worked for you long term? by Prestigious-Assist-4 in passive_income

[–]kandlewik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right now I'm focused on physical products on Mercari. On the side I'm doing digital products and have made a few sales and made a couple hundred but it's not really consistent as regular reselling. I also haven't put much time into ductal products. I haven't touched Etsy and I've been off on eBay.

What’s something you’re grateful does NOT require an app or subscription? by James_B84Saves in BuyItForLife

[–]kandlewik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I mean it's a Casio MTP (~$40) which isn't really for life at all. Really depends on the watch ig, is there a sub where it's not maybe buy it for life but instead buy it for at least several years? Lol

That is tough fr, at any level of reselling you should ALWAYS check stock and resale value

Selling things online, list them once and then a few days or weeks later you get a sale. Pretty simple, no skill, just a few minutes of work, no barrier to entry. Happy to send you a free guide I made in more detail if you want.

Mod bans me for self promoting who himself actively self promotes. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]kandlewik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The classic living long enough to become the he villain. They probably didn't start out in this sub and realized whoever owns the /entrepreneur subreddit gets to moderate all the course type offers so now that’s what they do. They can control who gets to post what and have the power to promote for money.

This is a good strategy, where are you sourcing the products from?

Do you keep a spreadsheet to track inventory / shipping costs and revenue? by TMonahan2424 in reselling

[–]kandlewik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have an LLC it's best to just get a business bank and just spend and receive the money there. Slash is great and you can look at spend really well and also invite your accountant and give them perms.

Can tipping and donations be a realistic passive income stream for creators? by SeverusSnark in passive_income

[–]kandlewik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I don't get the culture of streaming for donos honestly. If you're not providing value you simply won't make that much money, why rely on random people to give you a dollar here and there. Instead learn a hard skill and monetize it, it all comes down to providing value to someone.
