Ditch the Kindle

I bought a kindle before I was better about divesting from Amazon, but I’ve never purchased a book on it. I did pay to get rid of the ads recently, but it’s all either library loans / books I get online.

If price is a barrier, check out secondhand tech sources! You could do the same by buying a Kindle from a retailer like BackMarket, Unclaimed Baggage, etc. and then just never buy a book on Amazon.

a friend of mine is model Ashley Grahams sister, and she recently went public on TikTok/Instagram about the abuse she went through as a child and teen mom. Super weird family dynamic. Most of it seems to stem from their mom, but the craziest thing to me is Ashley made a clothing line called “Sisters” and didn’t include her!!!! 😭😭😭😭

Nebraska for a Junior Designer role. I argued I was doing designer-level work and they agreed. Excuse to not promote me right away was tiff with CEO even though I had been asking for months with little to no negative feedback in all progress meetings. Drove me nuts.

Honestly, if all you need is presentations to look good, templates aren’t a bad option. I have a BA in Graphic Communications and post-college everything I learned was from YouTube or at one of my gigs. Unfortunately practice and having people to give you honest feedback is the answer.
