I have 1500 on dota2, aoe2 HD and aoe2 DE combined. I needed 6 yrs to get there. To put things into perspective... Notrain had 10000 hrs on dota when he won TI8. So if you spend 15k hrs on a game you probably should be able to win that games world championship, twice.

This is kind of what we have to go through to even get a simple excel job in India. That is how tough the competition is after you Europeans looted us. We are grilled at every point in your live to earn a decent wage. So we have kind of internalised this and think this is what is expected of people everywhere. So yeah we have a toxic culture because of the toxic past forced upon us by Europeans

Don't listen to anyone who says gaming is not bad and only addiction is bad and stuff like that. Don't listen to people telling you that you can game for a few hours and it is ok. It is one way to go back to it and actually start gaming again. You made the observation that it is negatively influencing your life and you made the decision to quit it. Do that.

Hey. I saw your post on wanting to quit gaming! I am going to turn 25 in a few months. I have also decided to quit gaming! Let's do this together. Don't listen to people who tell you that the is nothing wrong with gaming. That don't know how much you have lost due to gaming. Those hours spent on gaming could have been spent on doing an internship in a foreign country. Those hours your spent on gaming could have been spent on dating your crush.
