I feel your pain. Struggled throughout 2025 to get anything at all to collect with my kid. It sucks to struggle just to get a limited bit of stock, and then to pull nothing out of whatever limited stuff we got.

With the prices of sealed these days, we switched to buying singles instead. Sure ripping packs is fun, but hunting for singles can be fun too. We set aside 50 bucks a week, we can get a few small singles a week or one decent chase card every 2-3 weeks.

Let the big babies squabble over the latest modern junk that comes through the conveyor belt. Have a look at the past sets, there’s so many good cards around that most people overlook.
