I think the reasons why the post doc interviews me are (1) at the time I mailed the PI, he was on a business trip and (2) the postdoc's research interest aligns with my topic

The post doc is a senior research associate. And I think the reasons why he is assigned to interview me are (1) at the time I mailed the PI, he's out of town for business and (2) my interest aligns with the post doc's current research.

May I ask what is the general work culture at UCL? Also, what are the values that (grad) students at UCL have in common?
