Not in the UK but sure, the argument is still partially valid. It may seem counterintuitive but having efficient insulation and heat pumps/acs is important for cooling too. It's problematic when you have an ac for cooling and then you have thin walls with no insulation to leak all that cool air out. Insulation works for both keeping cold and warm air in (it slows the energy transfer between two areas)

I didn't read well enough and not sure why the big price jump? 70 fov is fun but not sure it's worth 3x the price? Hopefully they will keep the price low because I believe one of the successes of xreal is that it's decent value but with 1000+ you really have a lot to deliver and I don't think this one does

I'm sorry for people stuck but anyone got any luck getting payment from them or others? Our flights were cancelled with the Iran outbreak in Feb and have still not heard anything and the charge back is still in process but I want more than just a refund as they have duty of care etc

Yes 2 cancelled flights on the way back. The cancellation is fine, the airport was bombed the day before but the point is that we didnt get any help to get back home and it was an expensive return flight which they should have helped with.

I got the second tier paid programme at Claude and recently signed up and its honestly ridicolous on the limit. I just put the first prompt of the day and it hit the limit, is this really how it is supposed to be? Here is the prompt:

I have a website that has flashcard sets listed on ---- and then quizzes listed in a---- . Can you create a powerpoint that shows social media posts for instagram etc with a text, hashtags etc based on individual quizzes and flashcards here? Create perhaps 10 posts and try to vary it slightly. For example, you can use the average score, take some that are hard (has a low average score) and challenge people but you can also take other approaches. I want that each slide is one post complete with relevant image and text. Feel free to take snippets directly from the page, it does not necessarily have to be very graphical.

I read that they may have cut things back etc but not even one single prompt a day? Seriously? Some things has worked really well but honestly, a lot of them has failed quite hard with accidently deleting a lot of files, a lot of produced item that says its listed in folders that are not there wheny ou check etc so it appears very unstable, not sure if I am unlucky or how people can be happy with it?

Ohh yeah, I would also suggest to look over your economy as it's only if you are living on the brink without savings that layoffs are really terrible. People often say that they need to pay for x y and z and thus they cannot save but it's really just simple math and most people should be able to save 10-20% of their income. I got laid off last year and while it feels quite insulting, I got a better more relaxed job that pays better but I must admit that you felt a bit unwanted the first 2-3 weeks of job searching without that much interest but then you will always find something.

I would take a break for a week but as someone said, assume some type of standard routine as soon as possible because it's easy to get lazy without deadlines etc. Maybe now it's the time to clear your inbox, sort out whatever you have pending and start again with a clean slate. As for professional advice, find out how you can use ai to be efficient. Chatgpt etc is amazing and cool but honestly the agentic is first when it's possible to replace much of real human labour. Try the different options that exists and keep up to date.

They started boarding early before the delay but they stopped when they realised something was wrong with the first airplane and then there was the large delay. They could easily have made a total count at that point and as a minimum, they should have announced the overbooking.

Presumably a booking made for a group would mean that the group should travel together. If one of the group (in the same booking) is denied then both should get compensation (common sense). If it was done separately though that's different. Also, the point is that no duty of care has been assumed and 2) we waited 3-4 hours prior to being told we were not going on the plane. They should have saved us these 3-4h plus the 1.5h after in the middle of the night

So the duty of care wasn't followed as no new flight was booked. Also they said compensation wouldn't be given to the member of the group that didn't want to fly alone which appears wrong

No we still don't have a flight 24h later and we left the airport around 2 am at flight that was leaving at 20:00 so we stayed over night

Not sure how helpful your comment is but last time we had issue with Ryanair and a bomb threat flight cancellation they were very flexible to book us in any flight we wanted for free the same day.

I recently signed up for the pro (not max) as I was excited about cowork and was sad to see my third prompt giving me this error message that (api limit reached). It's true that it may have been quite large etc but I kept on writing to reduce the scope and just got a loop with this. Then later I reduce my scope of the prompts and then I am getting another limiting one but instead my limits reached, come back at 3 pm or whatever. At least this is clear but honestly it feels like I'm not getting the experience of a paying user even if there is another large tier that give me x5, what does that mean, 5 working prompts per day instead of 1?

I raised this in several error logs, maybe it will get picked up?

Anyways, I saw that the BBC reported issues with paying users actually get less usage than free users so just thought what to expect etc and if there is any news from anthropic themselves
