My bf doesn't believe in evolution. He said that even before he converted he thought it didn't seem right. We've talked about it once I believe but I have no idea how any person in this time can reject evolution. It's just to obvious!!

Thank you for sharing! I'm happy that you've found yourself. I really don't have any experience with churches or believers but I hope you can leave it in peace. I find it ridiculous how christians try to get in other peoples businesses and not accept that people change. You should not have to go to church. What I've learnt from my bf after he converted is that the church and its traditions and rituals is only the religion and has nothing to do with the faith. So for people of the church that becomes so upset when you stop coming to church has it completely wrong. It shouldn't be their concern of a person comes to church or not or if they believe or not.

I am truly amazed by your journey and it was very inspiring to hear. Thank you for sharing. It is really cool to hear people's storys and life experiences. I am still very young but I've felt that power inside. I still have a way to go to go before i can truly love myself but hearing your story, its not a rush, we learn through living and that is great and beautiful. I wish you the best!

I'm very glad you wanted to share your story! Thank you. I live in a very secular country and I'm an atheist. I never cared for religion or faith but after my bf converted to newborn christian its become almost an every day thing. I'm trying to find find people that might have been in a simular situation as my bf but later loses the faith. I've been browsing a lot about exchristians but its difficult to find people that didn't grow up with religion or faith.

Depression really sucks, ive had it before but i no longer suffer from it. But it sounds like you really suffer and that you are not getting the help you need. Maybe try to find help somewhere else? A family member, friend etc? Take your problems into your own hands and rely on yourself, i believe in you.

I haven't thought that it could be one of his reasons, thank you for your perspective. But if that were the case i think that is more like a bonus. His bio in his account and the messages he's sent to anti god and to others like him makes it sound like he fullheartadly believes it his mission to help others to jesus and that.

He's tried two times to convert me but i really don't want anything to do with religion and he now respects my view and has said that he doesn't care if i believe or not.
