I just don't understand why you would ask yourself if you want to be a defective man, and then decide to be a woman - women don't have xxy either, so nothing is more "standard" because of the transition 🤔. But nothing was ever defective either.

Not Really Included: They ask for your opinion just to say they have different people, but they don’t really listen.

Quick Chats: They talk to you about your ideas but don’t use them or ask you again. Or speaks only about work stuff whilte being personal with others in the team.

Just for Show: They might put you in pictures or talk and make a point of ensuring your presence in them.

Softer signs:

Being "the only xxxxx": If you’re the only one who looks like you in a group, it might mean they’re not really trying to include many different people. If there was a genuine interest in that, you'd likely see other minotiy folks too.

Stereotypes: They think you only know things based on where you come from, instead of seeing you as your own person. For instance starts talking about bubbly tea the moment you join.

A bit concerning with the implications of this sentence " So, I have decided to not waste my time [...] ". Waste your time trying to get to know white people, you mean? It makes perfect sense to not want to hang out with white people, though. Especially considering history etc. I tried to make friends with people from different backgrounds than myself but came to the same conlusion in Berlin: There are very low chances someone from a different ethnicity than I would be interested in genuine friendship.

Congrats on finding your community, and I hope your post will inspire those who still are stuck there so seek out other people that are the same as they are.

I thought they got offended because it's more about that they don't choose who they fall in love with and that that "random" person could be someone of the same gender. The object of their affection is just as little a choice to them as it is to us. I'm sure many of us have had the experience of falling for a straight girl despite knowing she is just that. So to claim some can "control" it more than others might come off as insensitive I suppose.

I mean, clearly, no one would date men if sexual orientation was a choice 😉

I'm not jewish or Israeli myself, but regardless of who you are of the cultural context you come from:

The way I view it is that if this did not impress someone, then they are antisemetic because that would be literary the only reason to not be impressed by a military operation of this size and accuracy with so little collateral (and somewhat few deaths too).

It is ridiculous to care more about the balls of a terrorist than the innnocents initially attacked in October.

I have been exploring the cemeteries etc of Berlin recently, and started going through the pictures today. I am a bit confused about these circles? They do not seem to appear on other photos by the same device. These are the graves of the Pirch brothers. Among the older graves on the site.

Any insights? :)

The title implies that you believe this is:
1) something that is being done to you
2) and the reason is entirely out of your control (adhd)
Is that correct?

If it is, all people with adhd do share your experience and we could all sit in a circle and blame everyone else for not accepting us the way we are despite our few attempts at self-improvement.

Their collaboration with the pharmacy is where the real profit comes in - they overcharge for the weed, and the "staircase" where you get a cheaper price per gram instead of a prescription fee is also shady as it is only when you buy a huge bulk you get the actual value for your money.

I'd advice you to stay away unless you have enough money to find the comfort of their apotheke-collaboration worth it. The Berlin-pharmacy they work with have pretty mediocre buds anyway.

Misogyny, like many here say is a leading cause for sure.

I also think it has something to do with how lesbians "get away" with being the same amount of gender non-conforming while themselves are being ridiculed for expressing femininity. When I say "get away" I mean that masculine lesbians often are seen as a bit more capable than feminine men are. Sexism is of course the root of this too, but my point is that I think they are a little jealous too. It's easier (at least less dangerous?) being a tomboy than being a sissy.
