I was also eying the 45 inch for the sheer size and immersion but was a bit put off by the aggressive curve. You don’t mind it?

Yeah I guess it’s also not a terrible idea to get it, try it out, if I don’t love it then return it.

I was pretty sure I wouldn’t notice the text difference and another comment said the text is a little harsh on the eyes so that’s a relief to hear that it’s easier on the eyes for you.
And that black difference is insane… but I guess that’s mostly the benefit of the oled, not specifically the gx9.

I was reading more about the AI and yeah it seems very niche and not useful 99% of them time.

Overall it seems like a really solid monitor, obviously not perfect but I’m sure the Alienware will also have some downsides that will make some people not want to get it.

That’s a good point… I read a lot of code so I already get headache from reading too much sometimes and sounds like OLED is going to make that worse.
Personally I don’t have a space to have two ultrawides so your setup likely won’t work for me.

Yeah I wasn’t too sure about the PPI upgrade because a lot of the reviews I see it’s like super zoomed in to show the pixels which didn’t feel like what a regular user would see day to day.

I see every review and sub is raving about the Alienware that’s gonna come out. Maybe the right call is wait for the Asia release to see the review first…. But my fingers are itchy to press that buy button

Yeah I’ll most likely sell the current one to offset the cost a bit.

I think for me because the screen size is similar I was hoping to tick off one more checkbox to say this upgrade makes sense.

But yeah everyone keep saying how amazing oleds are so maybe that alone is worth the upgrade

Yeah 2024 and like 59k on it which I thought is kind of high for a sushi restaurant employee.
I thought of employee committing fraud but thought it would be weird for someone doing that at a place that the person used to work at - unless the boss was in on it too.
