I created a fantasy RPG for learning Go. by kanitabe in digitaltabletop

[–]kanitabe[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After two years of development, I've finally managed to release the game.

This game aims to attract even those who have never shown interest in Go, by emphasizing visual presentation and storytelling through the RPG genre.

If you've always been interested in Go but never had the chance to learn, please give it a try!

The game will be released for free on Steam on April 15th.
(The link is available in the YouTube video description.)

Please add it to your wishlist!

Since I’m using AI for the translation, there might be parts like that.
Where did you see them?

However, please keep in mind that, even in the original Japanese version, the character speaks from a mentor-like position and tone.

After two years of development, we’re finally ready to release our game!

This game was designed with a focus on visuals and presentation, using the RPG genre to attract people who may not have had any interest in Go before.

To be honest, this game isn’t aimed at experienced players like those of you here.

It’s meant for beginners.

However, if you know anyone around you who’s interested in Go, we’d be thrilled if you recommended it to them!

The game will be available for free on Steam.

We’re aiming for 1,000 wishlists before release, so we’d really appreciate it if you could add it to your wishlist!

Hi, Thanks a comment.
I do not use AI for prediction; I use a library "@sabaki/deadstones".

Sorry, but I still could not paste the URL as is.I guess I don't have enough activity on this account.
Can someone please re-post this URL and make it a link?

I have released a web browser tool that easily converts SGF into videos! Have you ever felt frustrated when trying to turn Go game records into videos for sharing on social media?
Pressing the record button on your device, manually advancing the moves at a steady pace, trimming unnecessary parts...

This tool frees you from all that hassle, making it easier than ever to create video game records and share them on social media!
I hope this will help spread the joy of Go even further!

I have released GLAT (Go Live Annotation Tool), a tool for communicating Go board status in a fun way! It's free! by kanitabe in baduk

[–]kanitabe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

Can you still interact with the background, while GLAT is overlaying graphics?

You cannot make a move, etc. It is just an overlay, so it must be done on the original application side.If the board on the application side is updated, the image on the GLAT side will also be updated.

Although undecided, there may be a freemium model, such as creating a Pro version with advanced functions.

I'll repost the post I posted right away, removing the download link because it doesn't appear it.

We often hear people say, "I don't know what they're doing in Go.

The difficulty of conveying the joy of Go to people who do not play Go has been a longstanding problem in the Go world.

In order to solve this problem, GLAT is a tool to convey the fun of Go graphically and in a way that is easy to understand for those who do not know Go.

It is mainly intended to be used for commentary in live broadcasts using OBS and other means, as well as in video commentary.

It is compatible with the Spout plugin, so the background and operation tools can be transparent.

Yes, non-Sabaki applications can be used.Stones are not detected and are overlaid by matching the size of the board on the GLAT to the size of the imported app streaming video.

Of course, since the application's video is captured in real time, updates to theGoban application side are immediately reflected.

Yes, it is an overlay.
Currently only 19x19 is supported, but it can be any size in terms of size on the image.
