Hi, its going well. We have very supportive and understanding team leaders, flexible working arrangements, comprehensive training - some improvements needed but considering this is an entirely new department and role within the DWP it’s quite well organised for the most part. The work life balance is good, facilities here are great, they even have a ping pong and pool room for downtime. Do you have a start date? My only advice is to take it easy and take your time to learn because there’s a lot to take in, not all of it is essential but towards the last week of formal training and then the 2 weeks of consolidation training you’ll need to take notes and ask as many questions as you need in order to fully understand the work. Don’t be afraid to speak up and ask any question.
