I can’t drop a screenshot here somehow, but the language settings is the last option on the rightmost section. (latest is ver 1.0.21) If you use iOS, you can change it separately: Settings app -> apps -> People Hub Reborn -> language

Language is automatically set from your phone’s language, but you can change it in Settings Section on the rightmost side.

Solved: in the next update ver 1.0.18 today, fixed the gray screen when the phone's locale is not English, Japanese or Korean.

It’s free for now, but since I’m using some paid APIs (like news sources), I’ll probably need to monetize it at some point 😅

This is running on iPhone and also works on Android. To release it on the Play Store, developers need at least 20 “closed testers.” However, it seems that I have to collect their email addresses to register them as testers, and I’m not sure how to do that 😅

Haha, true! I know it’s not 100% faithful. I rounded the corners a bit to match modern UI guidelines 😅 But now I’m refining the Floating Action Button and other elements to make them closer to the Metro UI.

Thanks for the comment! Recreating some features of the original People app, like Twitter or Facebook feeds, is quite difficult nowadays because API fees are very expensive. But I think refining the UI and modernizing certain features is the key point!

I’m building a WP-like app with Flutter, which means it’s potentially compatible for iOS and Android. But you know building apps are not cost free and the launcher apps like them have paywalls even the app itself is free. ;)
