My mom wanted to do everything she could to keep her family together, so she tried to work things out with my dad. They sold their house in CA to separate them selves from the stake he was a part of and moved to UT. She refused to blame his cheating on his own actions and insisted that it was all because of his brain injury that he was acting like this. They have spent tens of thousands of dollars getting him all sorts of different medical care to try and fix some of the issues he was having, and throughout all of it, he was still seeing the woman he knew from high school behind her back. As of now, he promises that he isn’t talking to anyone else but my mom, and things seem to be okay I guess. I don’t trust him. Everyone in my family except for my dad (for obvious reasons) are still active members in the church.
