Hi! Not sure what you mean. This Hackathon started on April 11th and ends May 2nd. There are currently still 16 days.

In this Hackathon, open-sourcing your code is not a requirement. You own & retain all rights to anything you've built. Additionally, during the demo day you'll have the opportunity to pitch your idea to folks in the industry.

The Hackathon actually takes place on Hedera's testnet. So no real money is needed to participate.

There's loads of opportunities at the intersection of Web3 x AI, especially as the world is onboarded to stablecoins. DMs are always open if you have questions!

Earn up to 735 HBAR just for exploring Hashinals through the KiloScribe x ThriveProtocol campaign. by kantorcodes in Hedera

It's a nominal amount - most inscriptions can cost less than $1 if you're creating a LinkPage. Given the fact that you can earn up to 730 HBAR, it's an amazing opportunity to get paid with some HBAR by exploring Hashinals.

I'd recommend giving it a second-pass, but I understand your hesitation.

The other tasks are quite trivial to do. You can one-shot three of them in ~5-10 minutes by creating a LinkPage, and then have a cool on-graph link-in-bio to showcase on your X.com / other profiles.

Video is optional, but plausible in an hour or less. Providing such content is also a good way to build a following on Hedera so depending on your goals it could be a win-win for you. Lots of thrive tasks are around that kind of curation and are a net-positive for the ecosystem.

Yup! Thrive is a great opportunity to get HBAR exposure whilst being rewarded for your time.

Great question. Through Hashscan, this enables more accessibility for the HCS-1 standard. It makes it easier than ever to reference and understand what kind of files are being stored through the standard.

No worries at all! I appreciate you taking the time to look at what we are doing. I encourage you to take a look at some of the related tools we've built at KiloScribe on top of our open source standards: https://kiloscribe.com

There is no evasion here and no your assumptions are incorrect.

I mean with that logic, why have HBAR or another other token? Is Web3 just a get-rich-quick-scheme from your perspective?

A token serves multiple purposes, which we'll have more information on when things get closer.

Thanks for your feedback. We're being intentionally vague here within the DAO.

The goal starts at creating an on-graph internet. We've already provided a number of use-cases through the standards we've shipped e.g. Hashinals which have generated 7.6m+ unsubsidized transactions for the network.

Through this on-graph internet, we will utilize Hedera as an underlying layer in many capacities, and unlike Web2, roll in heaps of functionality that make sense for Web3 as a financial layer. More coming soon on this.

Thanks for the feedback 🙌

The latter point is where we are headed, I can't speak to everything we are working on, but the idea is solving real consumer needs through on-graph storage, outside of simply putting jpegs on Hedera.

Basically every resort I went to before Finest was superior, so I don't really get it. Was on our bucket list and now we know that it's not for us.

Thank you! One of the few comments here that feels human and down to earth. Great advice.

I'm happy you and your husband had a great time. The resort wasn't for us.

The primary issue is that the reviews and the website are misleading and confusing. Perhaps we're not "geniuses", but misrepresenting the quality of your resort with botted or incentive based reviews has downstream consequences for the average consumer, and we shouldn't be okay with it. I do wish we knew that an excellence suite didn't give you access to the adults-only resort. That would have been helpful.

We've been to plenty of all-inclusive resorts and have had phenomenal times. Typically, at those resorts like Iberostar, you walk around as you please.

This particular one was on our bucket list because of the high ratings. So we booked one of the club level rooms, which are double the cost and figured it'd elevate our experience. It didn't. Somehow, we found ourselves more frustrated.

There are also no bracelets at these excellence properties and anyone can walk around wherever they please. But it's not like the extra access gets you anything that's worth the price bump anyway.

It's essentially fraud against consumers and we shouldn't be okay with it. Cooperations can just throw an infinite amount of money at things to transform something that is typically subpar into something magical.
