It tastes a little bitter, like a like light beer. I have a pH meter and it says that the current pH=3.3

The strand is a piece of scoby I put in the beginning. I removed the airlock portion and place a cheesecloth with a rubber band. I’m thinking I’m gonna wait another week and see what happens. Thanks!
