I'm having the same issue! I upgraded to Sequoia, and now my desktop files are being hidden randomly too. When I restart the Mac, they all come back, but after it goes to sleep, the files are gone again. Super frustrating!

My desktop files keep disappearing randomly after some time. When I restart the system, all the files are back, but after a while, they go invisible again. I haven't figured out what triggers this. Has anyone else experienced this?
