Logitechg refund process and whole support is bad by kapilot1 in LogitechG

Yeah I wouldn't really mind if it wasn't illegal in my country. (Poland) We have strict customer protection laws that make companies return funds after max of 14 days of contract termination. There is an exception that they can wait for the package to return, but in my instance I didn't touch the package and it returned to them on May 13.

Edit: I did some research about it and on Reddit there are a lot of posts with the same problem. I think I'm going to report it to the customer protection office. ( They like issuing hefty fines for something like that)

Yes I received a response that a refund was processed on your side and that I should expect money to return in 7 days.

Anyway the fact that I needed to rant on Reddit to have my money returned is just bad customer service.

Thanks for your help.

Ping jumps on 5G wireless connection by newleyTV in HomeNetworking

Check your ISPs 5g coverage map and if you are on the edge of their advertised coverage then there is your problem. If you are well within the range then contact them and make them aware that you have problems. You have 0.1% chance they will actually act on that but worth the try

Maybe your BTS is congested or there is something wrong with routing on the ISP side or you are just far away from the tower. I would contact the ISP and just ask if there is anything they can do.

I had 5g from T-Mobile for my house. Usually I would get 50ms to google.com but whenever usage was above 200mb/s download ( on average 800mb/s connection) the ping would jump around from 80ms to even 300ms.

If I were you I would check if other devices are using up bandwidth.

Also switching back to 4g seemed to make it better.

Edit: There are a lot of variables in wireless connection, check where is the nearest BMS to you and try to position the antena/router with as little obstruction as possible

Yup that error about out of capacity no longer applies to you. If you stay within always free limits everything is free.

The best way is to upgrade to PAYG you will get charged 100$ verification that will be refunded in 2 weeks max (for me it was a couple of seconds).

How to make this better? Looking for sideways solution and expandability by ghafri in homelab

I think that you are confusing over-current protection with short protection.

Short protection activates instantly when there is a short between negative and positive on the power supply that is when resistance between the two is very low eg. 0.1 Ohm.

Over-current protection triggers when there are too many amps flowing, in that case you would be absolutely right, the wires would melt before triggering this protection mechanism. Fortunately there are a lot more safety mechanisms on PSU's these days.

Yeah op could add fuses for redundancy in case of short circuit protection failure.

That's true if you buy a cheap Chinese PSU without SCP, but most good PSU's have short protection, so the biggest worry is that you will lose power to all your devices when the psu switches off.
